MS Excel Shortcut Keys

There are some shortcut keys which we may not be using in regular way. These shortcut keys for MS Excel are useful for all formatting,writing comments,charts,dialog box etc..

The Shortcut Keys are given as follows :

F1 :
Help Task Pane is opened.This gives some tips regarding Excel sheet.

F1 + Ctrl :
Used for opening/closing the help window.

F2 :
Used for renaming the text in currently active cell in Worksheet.

Shift + F2 :
Writing in the comment box for the currently editted cell.

Alt + F2 :
When pressed, opens the Save As.. dialog box.

Shift + F3 :
When pressed, the Insert Function dialog box is opened.

Ctrl + F3 :
When pressed,the Define Name dialog box is opened.

Ctrl + Shift + F3 :
When pressed, opens the Create Name dialog box.

F4 :
When pressed, re-executes the last given command.

Ctrl + F4 :
When pressed, Closes the current Workbook Window.

Alt + F4 :
When pressed, closes the MS Excel Application straightly.

F5 :
When pressed, Opens the Goto dialog box.

F6 :
When pressed, this combination keys switches over from help and application windows.

F7 :
Used for Spell Checking in the current Excel WorkSheets.

Ctrl + F9 :
When pressed, Minimizes the Workbook Window.

F10 :
This key usage is common in all applications.When pressed opens the MenuBar.

Ctrl + F10 :
When pressed, opens the window which are minimized.

F11 :
When pressed, Creates a chart based on the existing range.

Shift + F11:
When pressed, opens New Worksheet.

Shift + F12 :
When pressed, the current workbook is being saved.

Ctrl + F12:
When pressed, the Open Dialog box is being opened.

Ctrl + Shift + F12 :
When pressed, opens the Print dialog box.

These are the shortcuts being used for quick formatting of the Worksheet..
