Internet Explorer Shortcuts

Most of the Internet users prefer Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7). Thus some of the shortcuts related to IE 7 are listed below

F11 :
used for viewing current browsing window in full size. Full screen view can be obtained.

Up Arrow :
The cursor moves to the first line of the current web page.

Down Arrow :
The cursor moves to the last line of the current web page.

Home :
It will move to the beginning of the document(or the current web page).

End :
It will move to the finishing part of document(or the current web page).

F5 :
Used for refreshing the current web page.

Esc :
Used for stopping the further downloading of the current web page.

Ctrl + O :
New website (or)web page can be opened.

Ctrl + N :
Used for opening a new browsing window.

Ctrl + n where (n= 1 to 8) :
It will open the webpages according to their page numbers. Thus if 8 pages are listed, this shortcut can be used to access pages 1 to 8.

Ctrl++ :
Used for zooming the current web page to 10% of the current size.

Ctrl-- :
Used for reducing the size of the current webpage by 10%.

Ctrl + 0(zero) :
When pressed, the current page is being zoomed by 90%

F6 :
We can access the address that are available in address bar.

Ctrl + I :
Opens the Favourites window and the desired web address are being shown.

Ctrl + H :
Opens the Favourites window and also lists the number of websites the user has browsed in the current session

Ctrl + D :
Includes the address of the current webpage to the Favourites window.

Ctrl + Tab :
The user can see all the tabbed pages and can select his desired tabbed page.

Ctrl + Q :
Will show the current webpage's Thumb nail Images and if when clicked opens the corresponding webpages.

Alt + D :
will select the URL address from Address Bar, from which user can either copy or delete the selected web address.

Ctrl + 9 :
When pressed, opens the last tabbed webpage automatically.

Ctrl + Alt + F4 :
All the Tabs are closed except tab containing the current web page.

By knowing these shortcuts it can be easy to handle the webpages in IE7 . .
